derek, ide say stick with printone, i did once i walked from roland, direct.
the ribbons are excellent and prices are great. you can buy with or without cart and dave standens knowledge on them and edge ribbons cant be matched. IMHO.
Printone are drawing up a new set of discounts for the UKSG. ill keep you posted… in mean time, if you call printone and manage to speak to dave, mention you are a member and im sure he will see you right 😉 -
Rob, still haven’t heard from printone, if you remember you couldn’t get hold of them awhile ago to see if they do Eco solvent plus for the rockhopper 1 !!!

Thanks Rob, Had a local ink cart supplier who is also in the BNI get in touch about Chinese inks, wanted to know details of my Rockhopper.
Told him got to be careful about ink changes, Hot change or flush out etc.
Will let you know what happens as he said he will give me a free set to try if suitable.L J

We buy our pc600 ribbons from Printone, great service, never had any problems …. so I too will recommend them. The pc600 is great for small print work but anything too large just works out too expensive to do in house in my opinion. We have outgrown our pc600 now, its a fab machine but we are now limited with it … we sub all our larger printing out and are more than happy with the service so have no interest in looking at a cadet or verscamm etc to do it ourselves. But we do want a larger cutter.

rich… ill have to waite till dave gets back to me on any offers mate, but there is discounts. printone have added various new products to they range, so it will be intresting to see what and how much for… one new product they are doing which i have already been using for months now is their “NEW” plotter blades. not re-shaprened and cheaper than edward mathias. i had been using mathias upto then but switched for (A) price (b) i no longer had to return my old blades in place of the new ones.
im guessing but i think printones new blades cost about £7.10-£7.30’ish each… could be wrong but not far out if i am. -
