    before i run some tests or even worse read the manual can any body tell me the max print height from a single pass on my pc 600

    The ribbon is 13mm so I would guess just a bit less than that.

    thats what i presumed but ran a print of 10mm high and it went in two passes?

    any ideas

    The Colourcamm works on a set grid pattern. if the top of the letter is only 1 tenth of a mill over the gridline it will make a pass just for that little bit. It is really annoying and ribbon wasting but you have to live with it.

    thanks mike thats stopped me going mad i tried nudging it up and down to no avail some you win some you lose

    hi
    the pc60 is a 8mm print width. as mike says the printing grid starts at the plotter 0 0 so a 10 mm letter could be 3 passes.
