  • PC-600 – Coreldraw and RCC Print Problem

    Hi,

I am having problems printing from coreldraw 10 to a Roland PC-600.

The print is fine, the problem is it prints to the opposite side of the vinyl!!

ie: on coreldraw the image is bottom right – but prints to the PC600 to the top left.

Its worked fine before so I must have altered a setting that causes it to output the print like this.

Does anyone know what I have done in the settings and how to rectify it?

Is it corel, rcc or printer setting?

    Thanks

    Daz…

i cant help with the exact problem as i use a later corel and dont print, however, might it get you temporarily out of trouble if you mirror or move the print to the oposite corner of the page before printing ?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have just printed some text and somehow the text is upside down when it comes through the printer.

This must mean its an orientation problem. On the screen its correct as I would expect it to come out of the printer the same way, but the printer outputs a mirror image of the document not just the text.

If the PC600 is driven by the Corel Print dialog, what you see in Print Preview should be what the printer outputs.

Mirror/Flip/180/invert and alike shoud show up there.

daves right you can see the image on the right hand side before it goes to print. 😀

but before you see that, always position your print to the top left of the size box, remember to set the same size in print-setup as in the media size, then you can check it with going into view- then show-printable area…it should all be within a dotted outline 😀
