When I’m printing onto paper on the versacamm it takes a hell of a time to dry. I have the heaters at 38/40 so could maybe be higher. But even so it’s far from touch dry as it comes out the machine.

Is this something I need to accept or does anyone have any suggestions? It’s a wee bit awkward with a 3000mm print.

    Cheers

I would tweak the heaters up to 45 45 and see if its better……have you got the right icc profiles set?

    just a thought

Got it set to paper, probably not the right one but the results are bang on, also doing it on high speed 720×360, so putting down less ink than a high quality vinyl print.

Managed to get this one with some bulldog clips string and cunning use of the rafters… will pump the heaters up next time. Wasn’t sure of they would make the paper crinkle more? I already need to put the vacuum on full to stop slight banding issues from the paper not sitting flush.

I always ran the heaters on 50/50 with no wrinkling problems.
