Pantone match please
Posted by Gavin MacMillan on 9 July 2007 at 16:08Hi
Pantone 3308c
Basically a really really dark green, to match (as close as poss) a dark green metallic freelander. I can’t get anything darker than the normal dark green from oracle 751 or avery 700 range.
Cheers people
Gavin

not sure if this is quite what you want, but I have an Oracal 851 metallic swatch and there is a colour ref 677 ‘fir green metallic’ which is not bad.

Gavin,
Avery do a pantone 3302 vinyl Golf Green. It’s as close as you’ll get. Have a look at pantone 3302 as a comparison if you don’t have an Avery 900 swatch card.

quote glenn:which range is that one from Marcella ??
Avery 900 super cast Glenn 😀

whats the score with the 900 range….I seem to remember getting a swatch a couple of years ago but never using it because you had to buy stupid amounts of it…….is that the case ?? 🙂

Thanks for the replies – will just need to check on prices and probably requote the job now!
Annoyingly the signs were made in the usual colours, but they also had some graphics onto their vehicle and like the contrast more (it is a bit nicer to be fair!) so we have to re-do the job.
