    Hi,

We make aluminium scoreboard cases and we use polycarbonate fascia’s with black vinyl to cover the front, that leaves just the modules exposed.

The vinyl can be a bit of a job to get onto the polycarbonate at times because of bubbles and the size of the fascia and we are looking for other alternatives.

Top set of images show how we use the vinyl on the boards fascia.

I have been informed that there is a paint you can use on polycarbonates that etches into the plastic and bonds well, does anyone know who supplies this paint?

Or is there another way that you would do it?

    Thanks in advance

I have used Grip Flex in the past.
    http://www.signfinishes.com/default.asp … 93&pid=489
It is made for lexan sign faces and such.
If backlit, it has to be misted on in 12 coats.
Otherwise, you would get streak marks.
I would get an auto-body (car) painter to do this,
as it must be sprayed, and it is a sticky, stinky paint.
    But it does work!
Read the .pdf on this link, it has a lot more info.
