    Derek,
Clear vinyl may do the job, but to be certain in a rough environment, I would go for an armourguard type of material, Hexis do one, and in two thicknesses, I used some convex from printone recently, again they do two thicknesses, the thicker one would stop bullets!

Derek, theres a few places up here that could do it for you but they dont get on here, id offer to do it myself but I cant wrap yet (hoping to learn this year).

Let me know if you need some numbers.

Hi Derek, Peters right about the Hexis material but from my experience Venture Shield is the way to go. There should be a dealer in the north east, go to invisiblepatterns.com to find them.

Peter – have you tried using the Convex laminate directly onto car bodywork with success?

I’m interested to see if it actually sticks properly and stays on with it being a laminate rather than a base vinyl. Is the adhesive intended for this purpose or does it not matter? I use quite a bit of Convex so if I can find another use for this material that would be great!

    Thanks, Owen

I have used the convex as a protective film.
but what I have noticed, it does yellow after a short period.
