Hi, I’m after getting hold of some paint protection film, preferably 3m’s scotchguard. im thinking of offering this to my customers as we do sign’s graphics’ window tinting and think this would fit in quite well. i was wanting to buy some to see how hard/ easy it is to do.
so if anyone can let me know a supplier, i currently use matamark and they dont do it. i phoned hexis and they wanted a silly amount for it, i know it’s cheaper than what they was saying, it would be good if i could just purchase online if any1 knows a site.
    thanks

its never cheap, but hexis is cheaper than 3m, and print one is cheaper than hexis, they sell the convex range, and sell online,
paint protection film is fine, but my opinion it is not a very saleable item and is hard to convince people that they need it.

I can get mine from Bekaert / Solar Gard but it is expensive at a 36" roll not far off a grand.
I’d agree with Pete, not a very saleable item. I’m mainly a window tint business and I have been advertising it for 2 years now with no enquires.
but I’m not in a city where there may be more high end cars wanting protection.

I tinted for the local supercar centre for years(Porsche,Ferrari,Bentley etc.)and only had one enquiry.Fifteen years in the business and only ever did one job. 👿

There’s a company near me that specialize in this sort of stuff for racing cars and hi end cars. They use a material called "VentureShield" I don’t know how much it is, probably a lot like everything else. I would say after I used it, it is the best.

Think they also have ready made templates of the most exposed parts of cars that get stone chips. You have you pay to use them though.
