  • Orca Baleares – logo onto canopy ??

    Hi There everyone,

I am new to this website and I hope someone can help me!
I need to put some logo´s onto fabric that is in place on a canopy above an office window, I have fabris paint but what is the best vinyl to use, I am finding that when I pull the backing of the vinyl comes with it, also I can not use much pressure as there is nothing behind.
Or should I say no to the job?

    Hey Saul,

    Can you remove the canopy?

If so take it away to where you can heat press clothing vinyl to it.

I don’t know if that would work but thats the route I would try. 😕

    Good Luck.

You can’t stick vinyl to a fabric panel. If the canopy is made of plastic/pvc/vinyl you should be able to do it OK

To signwrite a fabric canopy you would have to use household emulsion paints.

As you say if your not sure just say NO!

i agree, unless signwriting with pint is an easy option, and the canopy is a fabric, forget it. it will be more hassle than it is worth.

if the pvc type canopy, apply using a felt squeegee. the corners dont dig into the plastic as much as the nylon squeegee when you apply pressure.
