We’ve always stocked MD3 & MD5 as our go to Poly & Mono digital vinyl, for vehicles & Flat boards, along with Orajet 3164 for the cheaper stickers, short term cheaper stuff.

We use matching laminates for the above, both Gloss & Matt, so we end up with quite a bit of stock.

Speaking with a sales rep last week, they’ve suggested we try:

Orajet 3651, whilst a Monomeric Vinyl, it’s a performance Mono, with 5year life.
Orajet 3161, a Monomeric Vinyl with Solvent Adhesive, compared to 3164 with Waterbased adhesive

The advantage being both use the 210 laminate meaning we’ll only need to carry 2 rolls in stock, rather than 4.

With space being a premium, and stock being dead money, I can see the advantage… but we’ve no complaints using the MD3 & MD5.

Interested to know how others have found the 3651 in particular?

I’ve been using 3651 series vinyl for many years now. It’s a good all rounder

    Cheers Phil.

Are you using the 3651 on vehicles?

No – I use 3551 on vehicles. 3551 is equivalent to 551 series Oracle
