    Hi everyone,

I’m after some advice on using Oracal 751.
We’ve been using it for vehicle graphics for some time without issue, but we recently had a customer return to us with a Sprinter, unhappy that the panel recesses had popped back out.

We always try to ensure a good routine for prepping vans, as taught on the 3M 380 wrapping course, and follow similar fitting instructions too regarding pre/post heat etc, which leads me to think we missed something out on this occasion (the human factor), but I was just wondering if anyone has any other experience with 751, should we be using a different routine perhaps, maybe we should be using different temperatures etc.

I have searched online for any official information, but failed to find anything, I’m hoping as ever that the best source of information will be the knowledge of the forum members!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
i think the recesses on a Sprinter is asking a bit much of 751 without problems occurring.

I found in the past the same sort of problem with Sprinter recesses – there’s something about them that causes problems 😥

(That said as Kevin points out I wouldn’t even try to get 751 to conform to this depth of recess)
