Opinions On Roland EGX600 Engraver
Hi everyone,
I am now looking at the engraving side of the business again.
I have been to look at a Roland EGX600 it looks fine for what I am after.
But as anyone got one and can they advise on their experiences with it.Looking to start engraving and possibly routing. Will be engraving such as brass, aluminium, slate and corian etc.
I have had a demo engraving slate and it seems to work fine but I would appreciate any feedback from current users who have spent time using the machine.
I am also open to suggestions for other equivalent machines. The list price is approx 9K (before negotiations etc)
Space is a premium so this is the max size unit I can accommodate.

Also have a look at Dhalgren through Suregrave and also check out Gravograph. For a 2nd hand machine try Rona Machines.

Thanks for the reply.
I have already spoke to Rona and I have also contacted AXYZ regarding their units.
The nearest model AXYZ do is called a Millenium, but its slightly bigger and more expensive.
Will have a look at Suregrave and Gravograph next.

Thanks for the suggestions for other suppliers.
Ended up with a Roland EGX600.
We opted for the EGX because we can also utilise it for work creating some PCBs as well as an engraver.

I came across your post and just wondered how you’ve been getting on with the EGX-600?
We’ve managed to get a used one, but it’s not here yet.

Sorry not be on here for a while, saw your message when browsing the forum but I forgot my username and password, so I have been trying all sorts of combinations from memory for the last couple of days and just managed to get logged in.
The engravers been fine no issues up to now, not sure which software you are using but I use VCarve Pro software for signs, software works fine and there is specific forum for VCarve users for getting answers, input or help.
