OPG recruit Modern Apprentice Signmakers in Scotland
Owen Pilling, Managing Director of OPG, formed Owen Pilling Graphics in 1995 and has devoted a lifetime to caring for other people’s corporate image through digital vehicle graphics and vehicle wraps. Together with his wife Janet, Financial Director, they manage a successful vehicle livery business. In 2011 it became one of the first companies in Scotland to recruit Modern Apprentice Signmakers. The four apprentices, Kirsty Donald, Oliver Lennox, Ryan Steele and Kieran Walker over halfway through their apprenticeship and having already attained their SVQ level 2 in Signmaking. Brian Boyle of EKGTA stated ”I believe that the apprentices at OPG could well be the first in Scotland to have completed a Modern Apprenticeship in Sigmaking”.
