What Tony is offering is to be of help to Omega software users.

I’ve known him for a number of years, and being the senior software engineer he does know his stuff. All his help is done out of office hours.

I appreciate the help offer, and no offence meant.

But as is the case with all suppliers, it should only be offered when asked for, and not as an advert for a company.

It does look like an advert from a supplier,

I think manufacturers/software or hardware should be encouraged to post here so users of that particular product can get answers directly from the horses mouth so to speak. I agree with Peter this was a bit of an advert and that is against the rules.
A regular and helpful presence from suppliers will increase confidence with users and probably create its own rewards.

i’m all for Manufacturers/trade bodies posting and promoting, those Suppliers should not unless UKSG. It’s only fair imo
