Tips on the back window would be not to use black on a window.
Even with the thin white outline there is still not enough contrast. You would have done better using white or even light grey/silver.
One literally cannot read it.For the van, you have a good amount of space between M. and O’Boyle. That could have been tighter.
And not only did you use a hard-to-read font on the contact info, where you should have used the same font for "decorators" maybe, you also used the dreaded "Tel:" and even parenthesis on the area code.
All complicating something that needs to be quick, simple, and easily read.
Also the weird floating blue graphic-ey thing takes away from the name.

I didn’t design the van, it was done previously by another company which is now closed and the customer asked me to do an exact replica of his other vans for his new van.

Agree with Jill. Also where there are basic layout mistakes or poor font choices surely it’s up to you to educate the customer. It is difficult I know, I struggle big time trying to drop ‘Tel’ and ‘Mobile’ prefix’s.
Why did you print the mobile number on the rear window without any spaces. I see this alot with mobile numbers, it’s very difficult to take in like that.
Why not 07761 500 902 or 0776 1500 902

I tried with the customer but he wanted to keep all the vans the same. I done it in a hurry on Saturday evening, but i will take a bit more time to fix it up.

Yes, definitely try to steer the customer towards a better design, even if they think theirs is the shizzit.
Sometimes they listen, sometimes they won’t.
That’s when I just collect the check and not post pix of it.
Another tip I use when doing a hood (bonnet) is if you give the lettering a slight "smile" distortion, it lays straight when placed on the vehicle rather than curving.
