    Hi

Not sure if we can do this but I have just stumbled upon this website. I don’t know this guy nor am I promoting him but just look at some of his stuff.

My link highlights a Rolls Royce he has done but use the link to browse everything else.

As I said it’s not an advert for him, I am just admiring his talent. 😀

Well talented. I loved the murals.
Wish I could get commissions like that. Only ever done one room with a mural many years ago.

Why not? any publicity is good,

and now BMW, or is it VW own Rolls Royce Motors?
doubt if they give a toss

    Hi Peter,

Rolls Royce don’t allow anyone to change the appearance of a roller without their permission or least didn’t use to allow it I’m pretty sure you have to agree to this when buying one – I cant find anything on the net to support this though it is something i remember (my Father may have told me he had a few Rollers and Bentley’s) and I’m sure John Lennon got into some bother and Uri Geller got told by Rolls Royce to take his bent spoons off his or not put them on (he had covered one or wanted to cover one with bent spoons, he went on to cover a Cadillac in them tough)

As you say now they are owned by whoever it is they probably don’t give a toss any more.

I haven’t looked at the link below but this may support my point just saw it briefly when searching!

    The other question is;
    How old is the roller?
I mean when was is it born?

You must have been in heaven driving that beast

All you need to know John.

I never got to drive Lennon’s psychedelic roller, but did take a trip around felixtowe docks in his merc 1000, which had a RECORD PLAYER!

    Hi Peter,

Not sure I understand the above? are you saying I’m wrong? (I don’t mind being wrong? but its not often my father was and I’m sure it was he that told me this) not sure what an ax 201 is? I’m not sure which models my father had but I have some RR artefact’s and have some really interesting RR owners books where all the owners in the UK are listed – I’m not sure why this would have been printed or if it was readily available to all owners? Maybe you would know when was it you were involved Peter?

    Nigel
I am not saying you are wrong, a lot of the RR stuff was heresay,
like the guy who broke down in Switzerland and RR flew out a mechanic to repair it, later when the chap asked for the bill, RR replied "sorry sir, our cars do not breakdown"

Another myth is that a RR was never seen on a breakdown truck,
again I can only speak from experience, I worked for 2 companies that recovered RR’s for Jack Barclays, and we certainly didnt go under cover in the middle of the night when a RR broke down.
