Have not posted anything for a while.

I got a call to do a blackboard sign for a manufacturing company, I usually do them in timber or steel, but thought I’d give dibond a go as I had a few sheets left over from a job.

The results were really good, the client was impressed because it had no weight compared to the other methods tried before, and my lines were straighter compared to the last job they got done.

Nice job Shane! Clean and to the point.
Good idea to do it on the Di-bond.

I hate anything with stripes, always struggle to get them dead straight :headbang2:

Mr Dave Lowery was dying to email you from the show yesterday, your ears must have been burning 🙂

    Thanks Martin…

Had an ‘almost’ migraine yesterday, was sick as a dog…. I could have done with a bit of cheering up….as long as it was done quietly 😉

    Looks nice Shane!
What is the black? Do they write on it with a piece of chalk?

The black is blackboard paint. I use spirit based paint and not waterbased coz it lasts longer.

I have to do this again coz the 8 is in the wrong spot 😳 The numbers should be down 1 square.

The error was mine unfortnately, I only just noticed it on friday 😳

The client keeps apologising to me, even when it is my fault.

you win some, you lose some. I did this the day before my dad was to go into hospital for a bypass, so my mind was obviously elsewhere 😳
