Non Sticky Window Vinyl
Posted by Toby Lanham on 11 November 2010 at 13:28Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a non sticky vinyl that will stick to a window (if you know what I mean!)
So that the vinyl can be removed and reused etc…
Thanks

Print or put normal vinyl onto the back of window cling is the only way AFAIK.

As Gwaredd has already said you will need to use self cling, either printed, with cut vinyl applied to reverse or just on it’s own as it comes in a range of about 6 colours.

Thanks Guys,
Sorted! MDP are offering it for £3.45 per metre,
If you know of a better / cheaper place, please let me know.
I am also looking for Clear (to use as protective covers)
Can anyone recommend a decent supplier? Thanks Again

Steve, thats more , the price above is LM yours is M2.
If you print on the white face of Penstick Digital window film the printed face will stick to the inside of the window so you dont need to back it up with white, the solvent ink softens the face to give it similar properties to the rear of the film. its also stocked in clear.
Look up Yupo Tako aswell which might be interesting.

The mdp stuff is only 500mm wide Cameron making it £6.90 psm.

Toby if the clear is to go over the top of the stuff your putting on the windows then be careful what you are doing as it may well not sit very well over the top of other materials.

Good spot Steve, I was just presuming that it was 24"
Martin – Its not to go over the cut static vinyl, I was going to play with it for use as protective covers (like on mobile phones etc)
Cameron – I don’t want to print on it, I just want cut vinyl shapes that I can move / remove
Thanks all

In that case Toby have a search of the boards because there was a topic about clear film for mobile phone/ipod screens only a week or two ago. Can’t remember if there was a good film recommended but worth a look.

MDP Supplies price is for coloured cling when you buy 1 metre. Grafityp price is for digital cling per square metre when you buy by a 25 metre log.
