i’ve been doing some big signs this week, thankfully the weather has allowed me to put up my temp workbench (two draper tressles and two scaffold boards) in the garden and work outside,

so, against the chicken run is resting half a dozen composite signs from 8×2 to 8×4, i’ve just been to the house to make a coffee and come out to find a seagul has pooped 1/2 a pint of mess all down them, it was everywhere! lucky it hadn’t dried so i just hosed it off, shoulda taken i pic i guess!

poxy guls come into town from the coast -5miles as a gul flies- to nest on our chimneys, noisy things put our hens off laying sometimes too!

    nice!

so does bicarbonate of soda by all accounts!

    here’s one i caught earlier!!

we were tournament casting in a field when a load of exchange students decided to set up camp at the top, now obviously we couldn’t continue to cast 150g lumps of lead in their direction so we decided to cast off the cliff top, it was about 150 or more feet down, i sent the lead to about 200m and within seconds it was pulling back, not what you expect with no bait on, i pulled it all the way to the shore, after several stops to give it a breather, and once on his feet he untangled himself and flew off without so much of a thank you!

probably similar the what it left! i reckon someone had thrown out some curry or chili last night and it found it! hell of a mess which luckily i saw before it had time to dry and stain the boards!
