Newbie to Sign Trade with CJV30-60
Hello all,
Im looking into purchasing a Mimaki CJV30-60. I’m limited on budget but am weary that the 24" of this machine maybe too small for the majority of jobs?? I have several items/ ideas which will fit this but for general signage applications how does this size fair?

For general signage it is probably a bit on the small size, if you have a limited budget & haven’t already built up any print trade then you might be best using a trade printer to do the printing for you until you have managed to save a bit more or you are making enough money from digital print to justify buying your own machine.
You can’t just switch these machines off when your not using them like a desktop inkjet as the heads will dry up. They run in a maintenance mode which is using ink even when the machine is not being used to print.
