    Hi Guys,

Just found you lot! forums look to be very useful.

I have a Graphtec FC7000 that needs some TLC (and an old Suma come to that) and looking for a flexible, helpful local engineer that could set me back up again.

I’ve tried Edward Mathias and Granthams but derogatory to older machines, (and old sign guy!) just wanted me to sign my life away on a new one!

I don’t cut a lot these days but when you’ve had the option for so long its not a good feeling in the workshop.

    Hope someone can advise.

    Regards

    Nige

You tend to find the technicians are all freelance and are kept busy with the machine sales companies. the machine sales companies tend not to get involved with old machines as they are subbing that sort of thing out to the freelancers.

the bigger companies like Roland and Mimaki have their own inhouse guys but they keep to their own and only if you have a maintenance contract with them.

    vicious circle, but understandable.

    Hi Nige,

Give graphtec a call direct, they have engineers. If you can arrange own transport of the graphtec to Wrexham you may save some money too
