I have got myself a CJV 30-60 and am having a play around with the software provided. Fine cut and rasterlink. I am also using coreldraw 2017.
I have a design that I have used for my clients van and also his clothing. This has been designed in coreldraw and is all converted to curves.

I have added the cut lines and then export it to Rasterlink via fine cut. I then open rasterlink and double click the thumbnail and this is how the image appears to be printed.

I have used post script 2 and 3 when exporting via fine cut and there is no difference. The Dpi is at 300.
I am sure this is a simple thing that I am missing or not doing correctly.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Iain

How are you exporting using Finecut?

I just add the reg marks and save the file as an EPS for printing.

Also you may want to add some bleed to the design

I am using the Rasterlink icon on the fine cut tool bar. I sends it to the hot folder as an EPS which I then open in Rasterlink and this is how it appears. Very pixelated.

Maybe just try exporting as an EPS in your design software and then open that file in Rasterlink then..

I believe it may be the preview screen can be set to a higher quality. I am just trying to find the option.

Same as Mark, I currently use Wasatch SoftRIP and the preview looks pixelated and awful, but always prints fine.
