    Hi

We are thinking of selling our Roland XC540 eco-sol machine for a new HP 310.
We produce a lot of garment transfers along with other things!

Has anyone tried the HP latex with garment prints?

    What are the results?

    What media has been effective?

    Cheers Jim

Are you on about printing transfers or direct to cloth?
Direct to cloth will not stand up to any sort of washing and print and cut heat press also suffers but not so much.

    Hi Peter

We print to garment media provided by the magic touch, then heat press to garment.

Before we spend a lot of money or sold our Roland just wanted to hear if any HP latex users do this with good results?

We do this on our L26500 on Siser Colour PU I think is the product from memory.

I’m not saying it can’t be done, but the print will wash off very fast compared to solvent.

    Hi

Latex is designed for interior and exterior fabrics in the soft signage and decor environments.

It is not designed for traditional apparel applications and will not survive multiple trips in the washing machine.

However short term apparel applications are fine where multiple washing cycles are not expected or required.
