New Governing Body For Gas Fitters (UK)
Hi everyone,
Ive just been told by a customer that Corgi will no longer the the governing body for gas fitters from April 2009. The new people in charge will be Capita Gas Safe who are run by the people who operate the London Congestion Charge. The fitter I was talking to reckons that he is okay to display the Corgi logo up until 2010 instead of the Gas Safe one, but I have my doubts (see the website below).
All other Corgi bodies remain (Plumbing Electric etc). Apparently Capita undercut Corgi by 5 million pounds.

At least the logo looks easy to duplicate!

agree with you it states there will be no grace period between Corgi ending & the new body starting. Advise the customer & just do the work when he comes back for the new logo.Kev
