William Smith, the UK’s leading trade supplier to the sign and graphics industry, has announced the addition of yet another game-changing product to its ever-growing range of industry leading materials.
Arlon SLX™ Cast Wrap with FLITE Technology™ is a 50 micron premium gloss white repositionable cast film designed for the single installer, which allows for a fast wrap and superior repositionability. It is ideal for full and partial vehicle and fleet applications, making it the ideal product of choice for both novice and experienced installers.
FLITE Technology is a lite contact system allowing graphics to float over a substrate until firm pressure is applied. It guarantees the fastest installation while ensuring long-term bond, conforming effortlessly around rivets, complex curves and deep channels.

SLX Cast Wrap has a tinted, permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive providing excellent opacity, while also offering a vibrant and reliable print quality, which is present across Eco-Solvent, Solvent, Latex and UV print systems. The low profile, air egress liner aids with easy installation, resulting in a smooth finish.
"We really are delighted to be able to offer our customers the option of using this game-changing product," said William Smith’s Head of Marketing, Chris Bradley.
"We believe the combination of its easy installation, fantastic print quality and 7-year durability will really appeal to all wrappers."

I’ve used / stock the earlier Arlon DPX6000 (?) for my latex, if it’s as good as or better then I’m happy to get some when I run out of the 6000

I attended a workshop about this material yesterday and I must say I’m won by the product.
