Have you plugged your printer into your network using a network cable?

I’m pretty sure you gotta do something to assign the IP address then on the cd there is a print driver I assume you can use with signlab to send jobs to the printer.

what model versacamm do you use?

the printer is a Roland SP-300 it only has a usb connection it dosnt have an ethernet port so I cant connect it directly to the network

My plotter is connected to a desktop computer, and I do work on the laptop and send work direct over my network. I have done this by setting the share options for the device to allow other computers on the network to use it. Have also done this for my A4 printers.

This would do away with the need to buy any additional hardware and continue to use but extend your current set up.

Anyone used one of these as a USB printing hub?

I tried to do this but ended up getting a network company in to do this for us, they charged me about €80 (£50) but was i feel was worth it. All printers networked all pc’s sharing files… happy days.
