  • Need to replacing scrapper on Uniform Grenadier- Help please

Posted by Andre Woodcock on 9 September 2008 at 14:59

My Grenadier is damping droplets of ink on media. I was told that I need to replace the scrapper. Now I have the scrapper and could find where it goes on the printer.

Could anyone please help me local the scrapper on the printer and an idea how to replace it.

    Many Thanks

    Andre

do you mean the wipers that wipe the head or the clear plastic wiper that cleans the head wipers.

Hi Chris, It is the clear plastic.

put the machine in cleaning mode

above the head wipers are 2 screws to remove small cover plate.
remove cover its in there, you have to flex the clear wiper to fit making sure you don’t crease it.

might as well clean it and fit new head wiper while you are there

I’ve seen it Chris. The old one was already broken. When trying to replace with the new one it fell somewhere inside the printer, I have to wait until tomorrow now.
