  • Need nelp!! Can’t find a vinyl for karting graphics!!

I produce graphics for karts and I cannot find a vinyl that sticks well enough to the polypropylene bodywork. I have tried Hexis Hi-tac and convex but they are not sticky enough. I have rung all of the main manufactures of vinyl and none have got any better products.

I did see in another post (http://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=182076) that you could get a thick rubberised sheet adhesive which looks like it could be the right stuff. That could that be suck onto the back of the printed vinyl to act as the adhesive. If you have heard of this product, could you give me the name of it and where to get it from.

    Thanks.

i’ve made them from oracle 651, 751, and had them printed for me on a gerber, never had any complaints.

are you having probs with one particular kart or on lots ? same plastic kit or several ?

dave……….next time you ring me why not try telling the truth about what you are after and who you are.

if you are wanting vinyl to stick to the low energy plastic material that the bodywork is made from try ringing Print One, they import it from the USA, not cheap though, make sure you are sat down…

Normal vinyl will not adhere to the plastic material..we have tried and tested lots of different ones

convex is one of the the most recommended for polyprop, so if you are having trouble with it, it’s unusual, so how are you applying it?
how many times have you had trouble with it?
