Hi peeps, I’m not 100% with corel but on my way, I’m using X5 and have had to redesign a Fire Crest so that it can be printed and cut, however I dont know how to flatten the image so that I can put a contour or cut line around the whole of the shape, without doing the sections individually which creates cross cuts… I have tried to weld everything together but the image goes blank..

    I need help…pleeeese..

    hi Mo,

in cdr12 i would highlight the whole thing, left click and drag across to clean part of page, then right click to duplicate. the break everything apart, select all and weld. the use the contour tool (effects>contour) to add your contour / cutline.

Select everything Mo, you will see at top of page lots of rectangles, click the one that has black and white rectangle (create boundary), this will draw round the edge of all selected bits, it might create a fill too which you just set to no fill and there is your cutting line.
