need advice on sealing the edges of foamex letters?

Car body filler 2 part stopper not the acrylic one !!
fill sand and prime with 2k primer works well

Try Evostick 3019 available through Amari Plastics (once it is dry you can also over-paint the returns as it seals the porous edge)

as above with one of these to sand smooth
