My pop out windows are empty
Hi there,
hope you can help….ive been using Corel for 20 odd years or so and this is the first time this has happened but on my call out bar, the tools seem to have disappeared, this includes when I call out colour and shaping tools…its like having my hands cut off…is there anyone out there who can tell me what is happening or what I can do to put it right again please.??

Could be a memory issue….just doing a clean up and reinstall…hopefully that will work…

Nope…did a re install, and the issue is still there, and all the fonts like I hadn’t re installed the software at all?

no….must have been a settings issue because after a complete re install without my preferences being saved, we are okay…dont know what the heck I did tho…

Have had other crashes like this (although not this one) in past and found only solution was to reset to factory – press and hold f8 while launching CD and it will ask if you want to reset to factory (or similar words) say yes and it loads as new install. Only pain is that all your fave workspace settings and tweaks are reset as well 🙄 ….but if all else fails it has got me back and running 🙂 Am still looking into X6 to hopefully improve stability. What version are you on? Was it running a big operation when it crashed?

Thanks for reply Hugh…yes reset and running now…X5 version…I don’t know if it crashed or I hit a wrong button at some point… 🙄
its always when you are busy that these things tend to happen…put me back 2 hours…right…crack on…..
