Moving units etc.
Well, did the shut down today. Running prints right up ’til the last …machine was still hot as I wheeled it to the loading bay.
Should be Monday when I’m back into production at the new site. Still got to complete a full strip down of the whole unit. Signs on the side being one of the biggies.
Took me all day today to pack up 95% of my dept….and take out the CCTV, wall heaters and still have time to feed a really cheeky little crow that came a-visiting.
Front door was open – so in it trundled with a high pitched swawk. Spotted a couple of jelly beans near the vending machine and took them out side. Still not satisfied, in it comes again – demanding to be fed properly.
I took a pack of rolls from the kitchen – and gave him & his shy mates breakfast….it came back at 4:30….so near enough handed him a piece of bread…just that last foot that was out of bounds. Crows…gotta love ’em.
I digressed. Moving across town to North Isla Street. Boss bought an reclamation yard, sheds & office block…it was a total hole.
One shed is looking great after it’s refit….muggins here was volunteered to run all of the cable tray, SWA & air lines.I’m getting more space at the new place – most of the upper floor of the office block. However…there is at present no lower floor…just a hole in the ground. Will be 4-5 weeks before I can move in properly…and 6-7 weeks to complete the bottom offices.
So informed I’m "in a portacabin" for the time being…should be fun…not.
Pics to follow as it all comes together.
