    Hi Everyone
It looks like my early retirement plans are on hold as we move into a bigger unit combining with another business….

We need to move our 3 printers
    mimaki cjv30 130
    mimaki jv3 160
    epsom 7890

When we had a cadet we moved it to these premises, there was a tool to wind up the capping station from memory which held the print head still.

What would the procedure for moving these machines.
    thank you x

When we transported our JV3 160 I just made sure that the carriage was right over to the RHS and strapped it in place with some long strips of vinyl. It take a bit of effort to push it off the capping station anyway so I felt it was going to be fine…and it was.

Have it strapped down in the back of the van with ratchet straps as high up the stand as possible / round the lifting bars.

Hopefully you kept the yellow head clamp and levers for it? If not, no trouble. just try and keep it straight (ie, not on end). Keep the carts in if possible so the ink can’t move and tape the head assy to the body so it can’t move.

CJV is easier as the head locks in place when not in use anyway. Pull carts out if you need to as the solenoids will close and prevent the inks from moving.

If you’re in doubt when you actually start moving, post here and I’ll try and answer in time.
