    – Any recommendations on how to mount a banner onto a wall.

We have a customer that has large wall space and wants something kind of temporary but there permanently. They initially wanted to use eyes to attach the banner – my concern is with constant wind – wear and tear will occur and it wont last too long.

Does anyone know of a product and supplier of anything that will reduce contact with the wall? Any help appreciated.

    Nigel,

You can get an aluminium extrusion which you fit to the wall; the banner is fixed in place by a plastic strip which is hammered into the ally. Its main advantages being that the entire edge of the banner is supported so it’s very strong, and that because it stretches the banner taut, it lays as flat as a sign board. A member posted some photos of a sign made with this stuff recently ( https://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=42836).

The stuff I have used is called spirit flex.

    – Got you John H I know the ones!

The banner system there looks amazing I did think of something along these lines though not seen one as substantial as that – though this may be too permanent will certainly show them pic of this.

    Thanks guys,

    Nigel
