    Hi,

First question… so here goes! We often get enquiries from bikers restoring motorcycles… or repairing them! We really struggle to find a lot of peoples requirements and often spend hours and hours…. and more hours re-drawing these. My big question is…is there any software out there that has these vectors ready drawn?

    There… done it!

Look forward to any pearls of wisdom.

    Cheers

im sure there will be a clipart disk of some sort mate.. corporate logos sort of thing you would be after. i have an cd that came with signlab that had corporate logos. honda, yamaha, cokacola, virgin etc but i dont know if thats what you mean.. or do you mean like the flash graphics you get on the tank or something like that..
can you elaborate a little more please… 😀

That was quick! lol. Got the basic Honda – Yamaha logo’s… its more the fairing graphics and wording styles.. as you say, the flashes etc. Get people asking for say a set of graphics for an RD250 circa 1979 etc! Never really been a biker type person, so half the time I havent got a clue what I’m looking for! lol.

Sorry for posting on the hello bit, still getting used to navigating the site!

    Cheers

    Addie,

I have a cd with the stuff Rob mentioned – loads of bike logos for specific models as well as manufacturers plus loads of other corporat logos and general boy racer type stuff !
As far as I can remember it came from the same people who I got my vehicle outline cd from which was Impact Sign Services -0845 1300 420.
    Quite cheap I think too.

if that of any help ….

    Addie/Rob,

Just had a look at impacts site but couldn’t find any mention of it. My cd’s called “Instant Graphics” and comes with a A4 catalogue with 2000 images in it.
Now I think about it, that cd might have been a “sweetner” they threw in with the outline cd for me !

Anyway, as Rob says, best ask Brian…

Addie hello mate, in answer to your question, No there is not a disk available for bike graphics mostly because the manufacturers generally change them on a yearly basis, same base model i.e. a Fireblade but with 5 or 6 colour versions and its been around for a good few years and with graphics changes every year you are looking at 30-40 different versions of one bike multiply that by the number of bikes currently available then multiply that by say the past 25 years errrr lets just say there are LOTS of different versions out there, best thing to do is to get the customer to price up OE graphics from the dealer then give them a price for doing it from scratch, I’ve been doing bike graphics for about 7 years and am lucky to have the correct graphic for customers 1 out of 5 times.

Thanks guys… I thought I was being a little optimistic there! lol. Hmm… what a great venture producing a bike graphics disc with yearly updates !! ££££££ lol.
