  • Motor Error prob on a VP 540

    Hi all,

I’m pulling my hair out on this one. I’ve a VP540, about 2 yrs old and pretty hard worked. I’m getting motor error messages (think the code is 0040) and it’ll request to be switched off. The weird thing is it’ll only do it when it is printing registration marks – either at the start of a print or, more frustratingly, right and the ****ing end! (hot)

Can anyone offer some advice? Also can anyone recommend an engineer in or around the Glasgow area? Printer could probably do with a once over.

    Thanks folks.

Thanks guys, downloaded the latest from Roland and I’ll see how I get on with it. Should be running some more stuff off early morning so fingers crossed!
