  • Monitor colour calibration!?

Posted by BenRead on 1 December 2009 at 17:28

    Afternoon all,

I seem to be having some issues with the colours appearing on the different monitors in the office and warehouse. Is there any software where by i can calibrate the screens so they show the same or close match colours??

Any experiences and advice would be great.

    Cheers Ben

you need to get a spyder or eye one calibration set up, but first make sure that the monitors are using the correct profiles in your software set up.
The profiles can be diffent in the software and windows.

have a look at the colour profiles for your windows display right click desktop/properties/advanced/colour management/
the profile should match the monitor type.

also, if you got a good monitor on the designer PC and a cheapo £50 one in the workshop, I would suggest decent monitor replacement
