    Hi

I am looking for a supplier of low profile type LED trough lights for illuminating a clear acrylic panel which will be displayed at eye level, so it needs to look good up-close.

    Thanks

    John

I saw these in a sign magazine just lately and cannot for the life of mem remember who did it!

there are a good few on the toolbar under suppliers tab, number "17".

Portland might be a good starting point?

I just googled Spectrum LED and I noticed the link was the same. Had a chat with these guys at S+D and they gave me a flyer.

The product is called Lumenlinear. The trough lights are super slim (about 20mm tall) and looked really neat up close at the show. They can be fixed in a variety of ways to it shouldn’t be a problem to hide any fixings if the sign will be down low.

new style ecolux from portland is uised by us weekly good system easy to install and extremly light

Portland Lighting is introducing ECOLUX, a brand new, and what is claimed to be, the most technically advanced LED trough light of its kind in the UK.
At only 60mm diameter EcoLux still retains internal drivers overcoming the time consuming problem of having to house remote drivers. Walsall based Portland Lighting has drawn upon 17 years of expertise in the manufacture of sign lighting products to develop what it says is the brightest LED trough lighting system, with 85W per lumen output. Economy and running costs are king as well; at only 12.5W per metre EcoLux is 75 per cent cheaper to run than conventional fluorescent trough lighting.
