  • Mini 30 Vector & Font – Can anyone help?

Posted by Steve Radford on 6 December 2005 at 09:25

We have a customer needing to get some spray work done on they’re Mini and want us to replicate the graphics to go back on afterwards.

Does anyone have the Mini 30 logo in a vector please?

Also, any idea what font they’ve used?

    Please see the pictures attached…

    Thanks
    Steve

What software do you use for vectorizing

Do you use a tracing programe or do you re-draw it node by node

Everything is redrawn node by node although i have noticed that sometimes when i weld (using the works computer) im losing the curves on some of my lines. Dont know why (?)

I never use the tracing progs as its usually faster to redo from scratch.

Ive done a few video demos which should be uploaded over the next few days.

Quick edit I use Signlab and Corel (mostly SL).

    Cheers Andrew

I find it a lot quicker to just re-draw and you end up with a far superior result

Do you do vectorwise full time or are you a designer/signmaker also
