All health and safety signs require some kind of picture. Along with text if needed.
Not all have it but the H&S say that any sign should be able to be read by a foreigner. So requires a picture.. i.e. head bumping object or something like that..

I always thought the ‘Mind Your Head’ sign was the one with the text in the middle in black and the black and yellow cheveron-type stripes at either side? 😕 You know the H&S side better than I though Robert, guess who is throwing a few ready-mades in the bin tomorrow 😉

Image wise, there is a H&S sign with a gent that has what looks like impact lines on, if they were moved to his forehead, this might be appropriate. Unaware of anything official, but if I see anything, I’ll post it up Craig.

    Cheers, Dewi

all these types of signs are not fully inforce at the moment but the hard hat and many others are. this is the way H&S is heading. well infact are but have a task clamping down. hense the reason we are so busy with them.. 😉
not only do they want proper graphics but stress for well made and robust signage.

nice one craig but not sure if the colours are correct and the artwork may not be as obvious as a warning mate. the head should be facing the object with impact lines showing the head being bumped. colours maybe red.. cant remember correctly now… 🙄

A gent came in the shop this morning for the exact same thing. The one below is what I made up for him, might be useful if you need one in a hurry 😀

I like the ones that say
    “Mind the Gap” better.
    Love the customer’s description BTW,
sounds like the old guy in the Thomas Dolby video
    “She Blinded Me With Science”
Wonder what he needs it for?
    love…Jill

I hope so Robert, its been done and its out the door 😉 I made two, like I’m doing more and more these days, just following the American Governments attitude, why make one when you can make two for twice the price! 😆 😆

Probably is Craig, I didn’t really peer to closely at him, just took the order, made the sign, done and dusted as they say.

Interesting on the new standards for H&S signs though, wonder what else they’ll change 😕 I think they should bring one out to warn drill users not to place their fingers near the drill bit whilst its still running 😉 😉 😉
