    Hi all,
    i have just been emailed a logo from a apple computer, and it is in mime format, i have tryed to open it, but non of my packages seem to support it, can some one please tell me how to open it, if not guide me in the right direction on how to do this,

    I think you can save the file but change the suffix. ie. if the file they have sent you ends in .dat (as they often do when sent from a MAC) then save at as an .eps (or whatever it is meant to be)

    That usually works for me.

    I have a bit of artwork sitting on my desk ending .dat…and I have asked my mate with a MAC to sort it for me…but… 😀 I think you’ve sorted it for me…

    Jim – A mime file is a zipped file (compressed) for email. You need to unzip it.

    i have sorted it out and i have unzipped it, i went to http://www.downloads.com and got winzip 8.1 and that sorted it.
