Please can someone tell me the location of the media sensor on our 1304 before I through the damn thing through the window? Been trying to print on the back of an old banner but jut keeps saying out of media all the time.
    Cheers

There is a sensor where you load the media at the rear, its in the middle, just before the rollers.

We were gonna chuck ours through the window also – when it said media had ended 3/4 way though a 60′ banner

Cheers Reza, is it on the top plate or the bottom I can’t seem to see anything at all and I’ve just had the cover off to check?

Its on the rear plate (pre-heater plate) , in the centre of the machine, just before the rollers, its oval in shape and very small

Cheers Reza I finally found it. had to get a torch at it as the light was casting a shadow in the exact spot. Taped it over and all working fine now

We use Wasatch 6.1 at the moment (well since we purchased the printer) We want to print direct from Signlab 9 but yet to find anyone who does using the Mutoh Valuejet . . . . . . (if anyone does, answers on a postcard please) :lol1:
