Hello there, no matter how many cleaning cycles i run I just cannot get the black ink to recover. It also doesn’t prints the setup lines incomplete as well. I have attached a photo to show the problem. Is there anyone who an suggest what to do? I have cleaned out the pipe that connect from the black cap to the pump, there was a small amount of gunk in there. If I run a nozzle wash the cleaning fluid remains in the cap. However nozzle washes are not solving the problem.

    Thanks for reading :bangshead:

    Adam.

Not sure how a Mimaki works but if it’s the same as a Roland it could be the centre rubber part of the cap not seated properly. I had this yesterday after changing all the caps and then manually soaking the print heads with a swab gently. Went to do a test print after it cleaned and there was almost nothing there. Turned out one of the caps wasn’t seated correctly and not drawing ink through.

Could maybe be a damper letting through air too.

Hopefully you’ll get it resolved soon
