  • Mimaki, issue with cutting on CJV30, advice please?

    Hi Im having an issue with my mimaki where at the top qtr of the material isnt cutting as well as the rest, the weight is set perfectly for cutting but anything that is on the top qtr cuts like its way too light, can anyone help with this?

    It might be the flexible cable to the cut carriage. It could be failing due to the position of the carriage when the cable is curved after that position. Does this make sense?

    to a degree Mat, is it a diy refit or an engineer job? i hate having to pay the crazy prices if its a pull out and plug in part

    Flex cables are easy enough to plug in and out of their connectors. It depends how easy it is to access and how mechanically minded you are John.
