Can anyone tell me how to get a Microsoft word document file opened in another program like Corel, Illustrator or Signlab etc.
I have a customer logo which has been sent as a word document, the quality is good and I want to get it into Signlab. Probably have to take a few twists and turns to eventually get it there, but not sure where to start. Anything I’ve tried is getting me nowhere. :banghead:

If it’s text, I select it in word, copy and it pastes in my lxi software.. although a bit bigger. Should work with images as well..
    have you tried that yet?

    Have you tried:

Right click on the image in word
    click “Edit Picture”
    Then highlight the whole image
    right click & “copy”
Go into Corel and then just click “paste”

Thats the way I do it and it works ok for me?

    😀

    Hi Marcella

Print and save as a .pdf file, then import into Corel and then export as .eps.

    Works for me.

    Thanks guys.

I had been trying to copy and paste directly into signlab but it wasn’t having it, perhaps my Signlab is suffering from PMT today, it’s been bl00dy awkward all morning! 😀 . But it did copy into Corel now thank you! I can get it from here to Signlab…..!

Interesting to see how often Corel’s name appears when akward files are being worked on, pity more programmes are not as flexible.

Rob, whats happened to some of the photos?

Why not install a Postscript driver and print to file then import the PS file.

    Tim.
