Thanks for the heads up, I’m in need of some more Md5 and lam and was about to order, haven’t received the flyer yet but can wait a day or 2 :lol1: (:)

I must admit, we bought some to put into stock last week as we like to keep a spare of each but as things go we needed it anyway but had we not I would have been pretty p!ssed off.
By the way mate…. those tressles are the dogs danglies 😉

I think the telesales section and other sections (offers etc) don’t marry up sometimes.
I placed an order some time ago on the hop standing in a field in the middle of nowhere, I had no idea of the overall cost of the order and was trying to beat that day’s delivery cutoff so didn’t ask too many questions.
When the bill arrived, the order was 50p short of the free carriage cut off and I was charged carriage.
Anyway, a quick call to the area rep should maybe sort it for you. My rep is fantastic and looks after me really well. He sorts out any issues like this that pop up once in a while.

I don’t think it’s something to be bitter about or reflect negatively on Metamark, just buy another lot in October to qualify for the discount, then after October and the offer is off you buy again at the normal price, will you be bitter then to?
I’m sure this happens to lots of people a lot of the time in all walks of life and purchases, you win some you lose some.
I have run special offers before on roll up banners and the like and if any of my customers who ordered a few days prior called me to claim the discount I’m not sure I would give it to them after the fact, where’s the cut off ? I may have offered to extend it only for them for their next order (to encourage them to come back sooner)
Would you go back in to Tesco’s for something you bought today that goes on sale tomorrow 😕

I wouldn’t go back to Tesco but I would expect suppliers that I talk to all the time to put a wee bit more effort into looking after me, I’m with Derek on this! Kick them in the nuts… it’s the only way sometimes!

Yeah I know it’s tough, also I guess if the offer is an October offer then it’s still not actually started.
I would probably chance my arm, but then order a few rolls for stock while the offer is on!
