    Hi All,

Not posted for a very long time!

Has anyone else been having problems with the inconsistencies in M7? Obviously there is the change in reach compliance but im sure they are trying to get rid of their 2nds. Its not speciffic colours as im have had problems across the range.

I am finding vinyls that are flat with no lustre and ripple effect in the face film, along with blooming.
I have complained numerous times and had vinyls replaced but hhave still not had a satisfactory explanation. I have always had a great relationship with my rep but i got the distinct feeling metamark are trying theor best to avoid.
The technical department are not coming up with any answers.
i did 7 x 10×5 flood coat jobs over the xmas period and ended up having to discount to appease the customer.

Id be intrinterested to hear your views

I have considered changing vinyl manufacturers.

    Hi Adrian,
I had two seperate issues with MD5a last year. The adhesive was very patchy which showed up badly when applied.
I had to replace a lot of lorry graphics as a result…

    Hi

I have only ever had one issue with adesive and that was isolated on a 3mtr run.

Seems a bit starnge that no one else is findingbfinish issues with the material.

We exclusively use Metamark for plotter & digital vinyl.

We had one issue with their MD3 which they replaced the roll without hesitation and sent a 5m roll in lieu of the ink we’d used on the bits we had to scrap.

We’ve never had any problems with their M7, or any complaints from our customers.

I cannot fault their service either, which one main reason we use them (especially when I forget to order a roll of vinyl at 17:45 last night, and order it from my couch without a swatch book and it’s delivered before noon today!)
