Metallic gold wrap
Hi All
Got a potential client and their product is metallic gold. Is there a way to create a printed wrap out of gold media? I was wondering if you could print on to clear and laminate on to a gold metallic vinyl?
Is there a printable metallic gold media available?
apart from the obvious and printing an imitation gold what options are there?

Avery 900 gold metallic, would receive full solvent inks. probably only look good monochrome in gold n black though!

I tried printing once on mettalic gold Warren only an A4 sheet and just as Ian says only the black stands out the rest is only slightly visible and it changes depending what angle you view it at, funny colour to work with is gold.

it depends what the product is, as to how you could imitate it, a lot depends on the texture, if printing an imitation gold, the texture would allow the low and high lights to look more metallic than just a flat colour, if that makes sense. Extreme maybe but just to illustrate, and to see if attacnments are working on the new server ( they are if you can see this, but small file size only….peter 😀
