Merson Group announces acquisition with ASG
Merson Group are delighted to announce the acquisition of sign manufacturer ASG in a deal backed by Maven Capital Partners and HSBC. Similarly to our core sign business Merson Signs, ASG has over 50 years of sign industry experience and offers design, project management, manufacture, installation and maintenance services for some of the UK’s largest brands. This move is an exciting step in Merson Group’s development. It will create a UK and European sign business with an unrivalled range of skills, capabilities and resources to deliver all aspects of major signage projects.
The acquisition will also allow both Merson Signs and ASG to offer a wider range of products and services to our clients, delivered using the combined resources of each company’s highly-skilled design and implementation divisions. All aspects of the two businesses’ operations are complementary including customer bases, locations, senior management skills and production facilities. We are also very happy to confirm that ASG’s founder and Managing Director, Sean Lloyd, will join the Merson Group board, bringing with him a wealth of experience and industry-leading design expertise in the use of extrusions for signage and retail environments.
