McDonald, Built up letters, LED faux neon effect, LED halo
Hello again
Some more pictures for your perusal, Saturdays job. A long long day, started at 5am Saturday, got back 2am Sunday, fitting in the rain nearly all day, 9.5 hours travel / 480 miles round trip included.
Built up letters with both front face and rear halo illumination. The face illumination was designed to look like neon although its LED’s.
I know the lower sign fascia isn’t painted (it was meant to be done before we arrived), they are going to paint around the sign – just too far away for us to call again after they painted it.

Looks great, but how is the face done with led’s, cant quite work that one out.

Its a fret cut face to the letters with push through 10mm clear acrylic backed with red translucent vinyl. The rounded end to the keylines and the fake neon breaks in each piece contribute to the effect.
